I don’t usually leave bad reviews but I felt like I had to. My sister and I had an appointment - they told us to come after 12. When we got there the salon was packed and we were told that someone would come back soon (they did not). Overall, we were there over two hours. We also noticed that they showed special treatment to white customers (walk-ins and quickly attended to them - while we were still waiting). For me they ended up scratching the top of my feet with the heel scrubber, my feet were red and burning for the remainder of the time I was there and after I got home. When it was finally my turn to get my nails done - the person didn’t even ask how short I wanted my nails and just cut what he wanted (when he asked the lady next to me - who happened to be white). I didn’t end up doing the manicure because I had waited so long already and was put off and in pain. The whole experience was awful. If you’re a person of colour I’d recommend you to go somewhere else. If I could give zero stars I would. I just wanted to have a nice relaxing day with my sister as she likes to get her nails done but this was just beyond disappointing.

After today’s treatment, I just needed to do a big shout out to Kathy and team at Joy & Peace salon! Once again I leave looking and feeling my best!
The products, care and time you give to me is at such a high level- I won’t go anywhere else!

I had the best SNS nails done here last week and have since returned today for my first ever spa pedicure & gel polish. Amazing. Lovely, friendly and a fabulous massage and polish. Will be back for sure!

I highly recommend this Beauty salon to ALL people. I now know why this place is named "Joy & peace" because that's how it felt when entering this place and being amongst other customers who felt the same way💯❤️

Ladies looking for nails come to this place, Trust me, also bring your husband's too. Kathy's husband works there he was doing a pedicure for a guy, seemed like the guy is a regular customer! Plus maybe a treat for making your men's toes look good lols.
