Came in for a quick lunch. My partner ordered the fish and chips with mushy peas Gluten free and I had the pork tacos, beef brisket lollipops and the chips.
Atmosphere was nice and chill. Quiet for a Saturday lunch time but there was a lot going on outside.
Service was quick and easy. The server helped my partner who had a bee sting which was much appreciated.
Food came out fast and was temperature hot. The chips were the best thick cut pub chips I’ve had in a while. Good amount of salt and perfect amount of aioli. The fish was cooked well and wasn’t dry. The brisket lollipops had great seasoning and flavours were sweet and fragrant.
The corn tortillas on the tacos did fall apart more than I’d like but everything else for the taco was delicious. The salsa and mole were delicious with the pork.
Haven’t had a bad meal at The Kestrel to date. Thanks team

We came here for a late lunch after a trip across from Auckland CBD ferry. We ordered fresh oysters, pork belly bun special, and Korean fried chicken. All food was spot on, couldn't fault it! Prompt, friendly service and good vibe out on the deck.

Great atmosphere and amazing views. Food is really good and happy hours and live music is there. The sunset time here is amazing.

The atmosphere and vibes were very nice and the scenery was good. The food took a long time to come and was quite pricey for the small portion it came in. The fish tacos were rather bland but the grilled octopus was very nice and tender. The market fish was pretty good but the portion was too small to be considered as a large.

We love jumping on the ferry and having lunch here in the weekends. Burgers are the best I've had any where, and there's a great range of beers on tap. Very family friendly, and super nice service. Ask about becoming a seagull sniper.
